Having survived the serial killer Martin Heard, Stephen Byfield and his family are now targeted by the ruthless Brood gang, who hold Stephen responsible for losing business due to him busting their prison drug ring. The gang is led by its ruthless leader Kevin Brood who manages his empire despite being in prison himself, alongside his brother David Brood who takes care of business on the outside.
In order to blackmail him into bringing drugs into the prison for them, they kidnap his three-year-old twins, intending to move them out of the country into Ireland in a horse trailer. Tasked with taking them across on the ferry, Karen, the girlfriend of David Brood, suddenly grows a conscience and goes on the run with the twins with the gang in close pursuit. Knowing she needs to keep them safe from the Broods while she bargains with Stephen to ensure she is not arrested for her part in their kidnapping, she takes them to the house of family friends in the South West of France, where she hides out, not knowing if friends of Stephen Byfield or the Brood gang will get to her first.
Stephen faces many challenges set by Kevin Brood as he battles to save his children with the help of his faithful deputy Terry Davis, but good always prevails in the end…….or does it?
